Our approach to sustainability

Care for what lasts.

Haldon began with a simple idea: the things worth investing in are worth looking after. That principle shapes not only the products we make, but how we think about materials, packaging, sourcing and the choices we make as we grow.

01

Our starting point

The most considered purchase is often the one you don't need to make again.

We make products for people who have chosen their equipment carefully. A bicycle, a set of clubs or a pair of shoes should not become disposable simply because it has been used.

Good care can help preserve appearance, performance and the pleasure of ownership. For us, that makes longevity the natural place to begin.

Our principles

Better choices, made deliberately.

01

Longevity

Helping people care for equipment they already own is fundamental to why Haldon exists.

02

Less, but better

We want every component and material to have a reason to be there, without unnecessary excess.

03

Evidence

Specific environmental and product claims should be supported by evidence, not simply good intentions.

04

Progress

We will keep reviewing our choices as better materials, information and solutions become available.

Care & longevity

Look after the things you already own.

Haldon exists to make caring for good equipment easier, more effective and more satisfying.

Maintenance cannot remove every impact associated with ownership, but helping equipment stay clean, protected and enjoyable to use can support a longer relationship with the things we choose to buy.

We would rather encourage considered ownership than constant replacement.

Materials & making

Considered from formulation to delivery.

01

Formulations

Performance comes first: a care product has to do its job well. Alongside that, we work with our manufacturing partners to understand the materials and chemistry behind our formulations and to make informed choices wherever practical.

Where we make specific environmental or ingredient claims, we want them to be supported by evidence rather than assumption.

02

Packaging

Premium should not mean excessive. Our aim is to use only the packaging needed to protect, dispense and present our products properly.

As Haldon develops, we will continue to review our bottles, closures, labels, shipping materials and opportunities to reduce unnecessary material or introduce better alternatives.

03

Closer to home

We are building Haldon as a British company and, where it makes sense for quality and performance, our preference is to work with experienced partners here in England.

Local sourcing is not automatically the lowest-impact option in every case, so we will judge each decision on its merits rather than relying on a label alone.

An evolving commitment

We're at the beginning, not the end.

Haldon is still a young company. We will not pretend to have solved every aspect of our environmental impact, and we will not make claims simply because they sound good.

As we grow, we intend to learn more about the impact of our formulations, materials, packaging and supply chain; set clearer priorities; and make improvements where they can make a meaningful difference.

We will update this page as those commitments become measurable actions.
